Departure from Moscow with guide. arrival to Kalyazin. Uglich is one of the oldest town grown on the Volga river. The settelment was fist mentioned in the documents of 12th century. Due to the Water Electric station in Soviet times two quarters of the city has been covered by water. The only thing wich remains about the old town is the belltower which is sticking out in the middle of the bay as a memorial to the underwater streets and houses.
